Yes, as I reference them I note other quakes along the Ring of Fire around the Pacific region. These are the first to cause me to perk up my ears.

That is the general idea. If large movement on one end of a fault takes place, it could add stress to parts of the fault that didn’t break loose and relieve stress. They may do so in a not too distant future.

The Cascadia subduction zone could easily generate an 8.0 quake. Thousands could die. These sixes may just be the gradual release of what could have been a 9.0 if released all at once.

The stress built up by all the snowflakes over the past two years has to be reckoned with. And as somenoe already mentioned, “thousands may die”

And, the other climate event no one is mentioning - a Cat. 5 Hurricane is headed towards central Mexico just in time to meet and greet the migrants headed north.
