If this isn’t stopped militarily at the border, I could envision a scenario where over a million Mexicans and others who could get to the border would swarm over it. Europe is looking annihilation in the face, and that’s with people who had to cross over several countries or get to their shores by boat.

There is only ONE side. The president has the authority ... wait, the DUTY, under the constitution to protect the borders PERIOD!

He doesn’t need some law passed by Congress to allow him to carry out his CONSTITUTIONAL duties.

This will not stop until Congress passes a law giving the US government an absolute right to repel and or return anyone entering the US from Mexico or Canada, with no right of appeal or right to claim asylum. The President will have to defy the inevitable injunction granted by a Democrat judge from Hawaii, and make it clear that the border is absolutely closed to all invaders.

It’s good to keep in mind that the invading army is (of course) almost entirely men of military age. If you have to shoot someone, that’s the best kind of target. If they can find any women and children, they might push them to the front lines, but I think they have few of these.

A federal court has held that the Posse Comitatus Act “makes unlawful the use of federal military troops in an active role of direct law enforcement by civil law enforcement officers,” which includes “arrest; seizure of evidence; search of a person; search of a building; investigation of crime; interviewing witnesses; pursuit of an escaped civilian prisoner; search of an area for a suspect or other like activities.” Military personnel can do little more than maintain border fences and vehicles and perhaps also assist with surveillance, including in connection with drugs smuggling, if the Posse Comitatus Act is interpreted as restrictively as open borders proponents are likely to advocate in court.

Mr. President don't listen to this BS. The President of the US can protect our international border with a basically free hand. This is snake oil. Posse Comitatus DOES NOT APPLY TO THE BORDER OR THIS SITUATION.
