I didn’t know if that system would move north enough to reach you. I gather it’s tied in to the hurricane getting ready to slam into Mexico. I hope you do get some of it because y’all need it!
It warmed up fairly well today. Tomorrow will be warmer and I hope the wind doesn’t blow again. It’ll cool off again Wed. but won’t be all that cold.
It was another good day at the tent. Not as many people stopped at the tent as last week but they steadily streamed in to vote.
I was watching HurricaneTrack earlier today on YouTube, and he was explaining that that hurricane, Willa, will cross Texas, the southeast and eventually out over the east coast and become a nor’easter. That’s a very LONG track for a Pacific hurricane. Amazing!
Glad you had some voters. I hope TN stays red! I’m pretty sure Texas will!
I didn’t even know about Willa until I saw a thread when I got a chance to sit down this evening. Hadn’t seen or heard any news today. I looked it up on NOAA and saw the track would bring it up this way. One of the gals at the tent had pulled up some weather site on her phone this afternoon and I was shocked when she said we’d have rain Wed. through the weekend. Last I’d heard, no rain was forecast until Friday.
Willa is why the change. And yes, it’s going to have a loooong track.
TN has been jammin’ with early voting and I don’t see TN turning blue.
Oh my goodness, ML...((((HUGS))))...glad no one was hurt.
Glad you were in the car and not on Blue.
And a coyote...you had quite the adventure!
it’s a Cat 5 hurricane right now but supposed to be a Cat 3 or so when it hits land. But I guess the momentum and the wind shear will push it clear across the states. Rather amazing to me!
The rally in Houston was amazing!
Health IS very important!
It’s already starting to lose some of its ‘oomph’. The winds were at 160 mph a little earlier this evening and they’ve dropped to 145 now. The rain in TX and eastward now goes all the way back to the hurricane so this will be a long-play event.
It’s a good thing they got our beans up already. They finished Hubby’s cousin’s field today and while one crew did that, another crew planted something in the stripped fields. Don’t know if it’s wheat or rye this year but at least we’ll have green this winter.
Glad it’s slowing a bit. The infrastructure there is probably not up to code! LOL!
Glad that they planted something so you don’t have to look out on dead brown stuff all winter. Winter wheat is kind of cheerful when everything else is dreary.
?
You KNOW their infrastructure isn’t going to hold up to that storm. They’re going to have a mess and we’ll get wet.
I’m hoping for winter wheat. Rye is green but wheat is vibrant green - - practically glows.
Guess I need to head out and get ready for bed. Another early day tomorrow. I hope you have a good day and I’ll catch ya tomorrow evening.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Yes, winter wheat is brilliant. I used to see a lot of it on the drive to OKC in the winter. Really cheered up the countryside.
Sleep well and have a good day tomorrow! See ya for another fun quiz. LOL!
“Not on Blue”
Agreed.
I have to do all the paperwork today, as well as go to the dentist. Grrrrrr.
