Mmmm...I love Kraft caramels, too! Not so much the waxy things. LOL!
But kids I knew sure had fun with them at the actual Halloween parties we had at school. Not labeled “Fall Festival” or any other such prissy names.

Necco was a candy company dating back to the 1840s that started in New England. We had them on the East coast even below the Mason Dixon line. They acquired and manufactured a lot of different brands besides their famous
Necco wafers, that were sold in assorted or the rare all-chocolate packs. The brand just discontinued earlier this year; but it may be bought by another company. They are great movie theater candy because you can suck on them slowly and not make noise or break your teeth.

I dont know but my hubby loves them. They are AWFUL!! The brand started in 1847, before the large-scale importation of chocolate, and also before refrigeration. The Necco wafer wikipedia page said that they shipped easily without needed refrigeration and were therefore sent by the U.S. to our soldiers in the World War[s].

36%. People just do not know good candy. :)I know, right? The quiz did not even have Good 'n' Plentys on it. I was always the child who would eat any of the licorice-flavored candies, even the black jelly beans, except> the black Necco wafers, but I loved all the other Neccos. The problem is, I just love candy I got 75% on the quizas do many people with alcoholism in their family tree (I never drink due to the regrettable example of my Irish uncles during my childhood).

Good afternoon, E...((HUGS))...will you be dark tonight? You are an early to bed guy. I keep the lights off, but it doesn't help...they still come to the door and ring the bell.
Hope you and Gizmo are having a good day.
Happy Halloween!!

They taste like flavored chalk...only worse.I luv them. Used to have them at the Saturday matinee when we were kids, for five cents. Still used to buy a pack now and then until they stopped production just this past July.

I love Hershey’s candy, too, but they did ruin 5th Avenue after they bought it from Ludens. They changed the taste and took the whole almonds covered in milk chocolate off the top.
