Although news media frequently refer to any U.S. troops as “soldiers”, the bulk of the U.S. troops in the Icelandic exercise are Marines and sailors.
No surprise that this grouping would pretty quickly suck up the beer supply. There is a reputation to uphold; fight hard, party hard. Semper Fi.
