And let’s see Nancy govern. Hopefully this pacified the ‘Mob’ and we can get back to some civility.

Nancy's party has been hijacked by the mob! Impeachment proceedings will begin on Day 1.

Could be a good thing though. Trump now has a real foil on whom he can unload, as opposed to a nebulous "deep state."

Thanks for that. Considering everything, the Republicans did well.

The libertarian dropped out and endorsed Rosendale. Might be early, or absentee, votes.

The entire west is going blue at a very rapid pace.

People are leaving Kalifornia, Oregon and Washington trying to escape high taxes, regulations and socialism. But, unfortunately, they are bringing the/their politics that caused them to leave with them. Poisoning everything it/they touches!

Had the same thought. Even though Ryan (and others) was stabbing Trump in the back 24/7, he never could publicly castrate him. With crazy Nancy and Maxine, he can go nuclear.

What was the turnout for registered Republicans in MT? Why blame libertarians, many of whom do not even believe in voting, and let the (say) 50% of Republicans who chose not to vote, off the hook?

I suspect Soros funding reaches these GOP-denting third parties as well.

NYT says that all of the remaining votes are from the Missoula area which is heavy Tester area. Classic case of bigger cities holding back votes until the rest of the state comes in.

Why is Montana so close?! I thought it was a conservative state?

Why was Tester elected six years ago? Politics is complicated, there are no easy "red" and "blue" answers ... anywhere.

Obama and Clinton didn’t have to deal with 40 anti-Trumpers retiring. Otherwise Trump would have probably maintained the house too.

Great point. But I doubt they really retire. Most will stay around the beltway and leech off their access to Congress as lobbyists.

Yep. Nancy Pelosi is now the face of the Democrat party. She has seriously diminished mental capacity. One gaffe after another at press conferences. It will be hilarious watching the MSM cover up/ignore that.

We’ll see, but the Times has been talking up that Tester surge for the past few hours which so far has been non-existent.

You also have the power of incumbency at work.

Why is Montana so close?! I thought it was a conservative state?

This may be part of the reason:

“Tester had received $19,227,650 in campaign donations and spent $17,674,961 while the Rosendale campaign had received only $4,722,943 in campaign donations and spent $4,204,778.

Tester also had a drastic advantage in PAC support, with $3.6 million compared to $325K for Rosendale.“

Rosendale was VASTLY outspent by Tester. Not to mention the power of incumbency.
