The law granted amnesty to nearly 3 million illegal immigrants, yet was largely considered unsuccessful because the strict sanctions on employers were stripped out of the bill for passage.
This time we have no idea how many are here because the powers that be make a point of preventing an accurate count. It may not be a stretch to assume 10 times the '87 number. Once this amnesty passes, the next one will be in 15 years for how many? This is the end of the original country. The merchants and the Leftists will win. The final fight will be between them.
Yea...wanna know the kicker? If 22 million (+) illegals receive amnesty, the adult amnesty recipients will be eligible to bring up to four family members into this country.

If the Democrats are serious about amnesty, then before we even talk about it, the wall should be completely built. Until then, no amnesty, no asylum, no DACA. Reset all the ground rules and anyone who wants to become an American citizen must go home and come in legally.

True enough. Take a look at CA and NV. Legal immigration (status quo) will make the Dems the permanent majority party within a decade. Amnesty just hastens the process.
