There should be a deadline that ALL ballots must be counted with several days grace for absentee military ballots.
My understanding is that this is the issue that is the subject of the lawsuit against Fontes by four Recorders from other counties. They claim the law says that a non-matching signature can be verified prior to the end of election day, but not thereafter and since they follow that standard and he is continuing to call and verify votes claims to have signed their ballot, he is violating the law and making votes from other counties count less.
Now here is the deal, he says he is doing this because Pima County (democrat Tucson) does it and he wants to follow that standard.
Why do they do it that way down there? I believe it is so precinct captains in minority neighborhoods can go around and gather up unvoted ballots, vote them themselves and then sign them and turn them in same-day at the polling places.
This then allows the dem voter to get a call and say "yes." and the ballots to be bulk completed.
Signature match early on should be allowed to be verified when they don't match early as elderly have non-consistent signatures and if claiming a mismatch allows a discard -- then dems would do it with Republican precincts. But the law says only through the election day to prevent this dumping of ballots gathered by activist-criminals.
Absolutely. Hes still counting the way he wants to, even as we speak.
Let’s call it Kyl’s seat. I’ve heard that other name almost all of my adult life.
I sure hope you are right.
Corruption — time for the GOP to investigate.
Kyls a good guy. When my dad was interred at Arlington a few decades ago, my mom requested tickets to the White House Tour and to the Capital Tour from McCains office. It was Kyl who acted, not McCain, to make sure we could see the sights when we went.
