What forms of "protection" will the U.S. continue to provide to invaders claiming persecution, but who enter the country in contravention of this proclamation? The only acceptable protection for that subset should be to send them to Mexico, the country which has already offered them asylum.
God bless the President for doing everything he can to protect our sovereignty when Congress refuses to secure our borders from hostile invasion.

When one looks back at when the Somazas ran Nicaragua and Batista was in charge of Cuba and the sugar mills and Del Monte and United Fruit had that sort of presence in that area, there might have been those few unfortunate instances in which the concerns and/or grievances of the locals might not have been fully or adequately addressed and that in turn gave rise to Communist rebels and agitators setting up shop there. And then the drug trade came in to supply the growing North American addiction.
Really a tragic story when one thinks about it because in those years past (in the days of when ones like the Somazas and Batista and others were in charge), at least there seemed to be that great deal less violence and more stability in those places compared to now.

This is a good start on clamping down on fence-jumping invaders.
Might work, but short of a true wall, he could just set up a bunch of stanchions a couple miles long, perhaps with a priority line for Arabs and coyotes.
And make sure they take their shoes off before going through the “hands up don’t shoot” x-ray scanners.
Of course, migrants can always demand the free massage and be screened manually by gender-declared appropriate TSA agents.

This looks to me like this is mostly for those who try to enter illegally...those who go through port of entry will be heard to determine if or not asylum is granted.
....many of these people have joined together calling themselves all one big family.....one woman bragged about all those she’s ‘adopted’ with the intention of saying they are all of the save last name when they arrive. Now I doubt they can pull it off but this just shows they will say whatever will get them in.....even if it won’t.
But asylum must be accepted at the first country that offers it. And Mexico offered it to them all.
Trump doesn’t mention that, as it is a detail. But it is there and will prevent asylum claims from being accepted.
When I got home I was able to watch it no problem. Those guys are supreme warriors and I hope they kill all the scumbags they find on all the islands. I did a fair amount of TV production decades ago and those videos are top quality.
Thanks for letting me know. Lt Tomayo was a videographer before he joined the military. I know his parents are extremely proud of him.
