Not true. Senate votes affect all Americans. Gov affect Florida.
Not to be confused with the even more solid 50,000 vote lead Scott held on election night with all counties fully reporting.

I love Ron DeSantis, but the idea that a governorship is more important that the Senate today, what with all the needed Trump appointments to be approved and as a buttress against the RAT House, simply doesn’t pass the smell test for me.
I had the same thought, myself.
They could have done some real damage in 2020. However, they've shot their bolt, to no real gain.
Conservatives don't win by losing, and giving up the house is a loss, for certain. However, we currently control the strings that are important - namely the judicial confirmation process and the presidency.
If I had to pick one hill to lose, "The House" would be it. 40 Republicans bailed out, it's a mid-term where the incumbent party traditionally loses seats, the leader of the Republican party is "Contentious" :-), the MSM, Hollywood, and just about every idiot with a microphone stood up and denounced Trump/Conservatives, Dems poured 100's of millions into the elections........and *STILL* managed to only squeak out a win.
Good wakeup call for Republicans in 2020, I'm still feeling pretty good.

Unfortunately, these two RAT counties HAVE IT FIGURED OUT! They figured out long, long ago that they exist to try their dead level best how to steal elections for the RATs. Something has to be done to stop this “count until you win strategy” that the RATs have used so successfully. For one thing, the Consent Degree that the RINOs signed with the RATs years ago has been vacated, so let’s go full speed ahead going after vote fraud now that that roadblock has been removed.

Yes, the House needed a GOPe enema and it looks as though we got it! Getting rid of 40 RINOs/GOPe trash is a step in the right direction even if we had to loose control temporarily to make it happen. The GOPe $hit that is pervasive in the House is still in control, what with that feckless turd McCarthy as Minority Leader, but progress has been made. In a perverse way, I had almost hoped that McCarthy would loose his seat too. Basically, the House is still very much a Never Trumper place. If they had their “druthers,” they would rush back to “the way thing were before Trump was elected!”

Uh, I wouldn’t be too fast here. Never underestimate the corruption in Broward and Miami-Dade (not to mention the entire Dem party). They have had years of practice making the vote total be what they want it to be, and without any negative consequences.

..........................................................In 2020 when it comes down to Trump’s reelection, I don’t think you will be so dismissive of Florida’s huge electoral college votes. A Republican governor like DeSantis will make a marked difference.
