Mueller is a defacto AG—an acting AG. Who was never chosen by the POTUS and never confirmed by the senate. And is running a coup against a lawfully elected President of the United States.

What about the objectivity of Mueller's hired guns, many of which gave large contributions to Hillary, and some of which actually worked for her and her "foundation?"

President Trump has no desire or inclination to fire Mueller, and has nothing to fear from him. But all the theater surrounding the special counsel is a very useful distraction that has anesthetized the president’s enemies while they have been investigated in secret (as is proper). President Trump is neither a fool nor naive. He chose Whitaker to fill in for a very specific purpose which we will learn eventually. Does anybody remember Anthony Scaramucci?
Flake will just find something else to do to stick his thumb in the eye of the President and the Nation in general.
Whitaker can fire Mueller. He won’t though.
