“I think we are in a moment in time where our country and our morality as a country is literally on knife’s edge. We have a president who has blurred, even destroyed the lines between right vs. wrong. Part of what she says is correct....we are on a knife's edge in this country.

How many of these hate crimes are perpetrated by a member of the very group that the "hate crime" attacks. There is a website out there that lists many of the ones that make the national news. Most are self-inflicted.
Maybe they are counting ever mean thing a sixth grader says to someone.
