It has been a nightmare for so many people. So devastating. Many in the Camp Fire area didn’t even have homeowners insurance because it was so expensive. Those who did will most likely not be insurable after this. Very sad.

It’s just horrible. And with the price of homes in CA, even if they did have insurance, it probably won’t even cover a down payment.
I just can’t imagine going from my retirement dream home to the Walmart parking lot. Or worse...dead in my car. Heartbreaking.

You're the guest who comes for the game, not for the meal. Thanksgiving dinner is just a bonus.
As far as you're concerned, everyone should be eating in front of the television!
While other football fans are thrilled to see you show up, everyone else wishes you had something else to talk about.
Try to make a little small talk with the family. (You can do it during commercial breaks!)

A friend of mine (since 3rd grade) lost everything. The only thing left standing on her property is the fireplace.
My ex-SIL's uncle and wife are still missing. Not a good sign after all this time. :-(

The thought of those people in their cars or homes.......Just beyond horrible.
