My only guess, someone showed Roberts his NSA file which contained something either illegal or morally embarrassing that would compromise his personal life.

It is now quite evident that the two Children were from Ireland. Even wikipedia references these adoptions at the time of Roberts’ confirmation, and indicates that the children were of Irish birth.
However Irish law 1) prohibits the adoption of Children to non-residents, and 2) also does not permit private adoptions, but rather has all adoptions go through a public agency.

Roberts and then McCain are personalities that, when it was in their power to do so, decided to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
How someone could abandon his principles like that overnight I’ll never understand - unless he was blackmailed or never had principles in the first place and was just waiting for the right offer. I’m going with the latter.

How else to stack the special court, managed and staffed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, with “friendly” rubber stamp judges... like the one Strozk and Page talked about and arranged for FISA hearing (and Comey and Lynch knew also, and signed the warrants, as did Rosenstein... LOL), the specific judge/pal Contreras (who also had Flynn’s case and “recused” himself from it....!!).

Yes, FRiend but the US is signatory to international law, with Ireland, the UK and a host of others.... so it is more powerful than just sullying. These dem scum blackmailers are IN the biz of “human trafficking” under the aegis “immigration” law that pays this specialty law a pretty penny, usually from foreign sources. It is in actuality, human rights abuses by attorneys. Roberts and wife sincere efforts to adopt good children directly through their legal moms-— oh... no, that is “illegal”. Not to any normal individual with Christian love and beliefs, but certainly illegal to the child traffickers and paedophiles worldwide (a “due process” crime to mousetrap and control others— and shameful).

They threatened to expose how he violated Ireland’s adoption laws.
Short version: He got the call from Chuckie Schumer warning him he would be exposed as a criminal for illegally adopting two children from Ireland which is a crime if one is not an Irish citizen. End of story until the next time they want to use it.
Best solution, get it out in the open, get the Irish government to pardon Roberts and his wife and end this crap.
