Had McDaniel been photographed in a Confederate hat and joked about public hangings the entire weight of the GOPe would be falling on his head now as they vigoriously campaigned to elect another Democrat. The senior Senator from MS would be barnstorming the state campaigning for Espy, McConnell would be bad-mouthing him, etc. Guaranteed. Party loyalty is a one way street with the GOPe.

I THINK Trump got a net gain of 3 senate seats.
The last time there were 4 net taken from the other party was 1934.
Porky Pig Rove said too many republicans were sampled in the poll and he thinks the crooked Clinton cronie Epsy has a chance to win. I don’t think I would bother donut boy a bit of the democrat won. He’d blame it on Trump.
With Smith we will get a net gain of two.
Pretty sad considering half the Rat Senate Caucus was up for Reelection, but at least we held on to the Senate which is what really counts.

POTUS, Trump said it all tonight. I have known for a very long time that this Senate runoff race was a critical path item for POTUS, Trump & Cindy Hyde-Smith.
If Cindy Hyde-Smith wins her Senate runoff race tomorrow, the Democrat House victory means absolutely nothing. Trump has all the important cards in his hand.
It is called strategic planning and looking at the big picture!!! That is why POTUS, Trump devoted 90% of his campaign activity to winning & holding the Senate majority.
It’s like the Civil War...the battle of Gettysburg, PA vs. General, Grant winning the battle & siege of Vicksburg, MS. Gettysburg was a great victory, but the Vicksburg victory gave the Union total control of the mighty Mississippi River and eventual Union victory.
Winning the House for Democrats is a nice victory, but, controlling the Senate is vital to controlling Legislation and appointing Judges!!! Trump has more brains in his pinky finger then the entire Democrat Party..period. There’s more, but let us see if the voters of MS get it. Democrat, Mike Espy is simply a “ZERO”!!! have Comcast internet, cable and phone service ..and live in RURAL America..and a land line is a must for us, as hubby has CHF and heart disease ..and cells don't work here..COMCAST WENT DOWN FROM HIGH WINDS, at 3 pm, just as I shut Shep Smith OFF...and did not come back until almost 11 pm...to say I was upset is the truth...
Time to shop for new service...
Hubby was out in his tree house all day...no buck yet, but last week he did get his FIRST BLACK BEAR, not bad work for a dude 81..lol
He will get a deer, the season runs for two weeks, and they even extended the Bear for a couple days...This is his ‘favorite’ time of year, and has been all his hunting life and it began when he was 17..
so will watch Hannity repeat, He said he will be showing some of the second Rally... I did get to catch Ed Henry fill in for Shannon Beam, which I liked...she grates my last nerve...glad she was off..maybe she will be off all week..hope so...lol

One line I especially like is: I’m not a politician. I’ve run one political race and look at the outcome!
This shows the genius of Trump. He won the Presidency! Think of it...without first being a governor, a rep, a state legislator, a junior senator...sec of state...nothing. There will never ever be another Trump. He’s brilliant. Thank God he loves America.

This is why conservatives have to find and run DINOs in ‘Rat primaries, because you can depend on uniparty RINOs doing their best to pick the least electable Pubbie to run.
But there's a very good chance she loses in 2020...if for instance she continues to make gaffs (likely) and the Democrats run a smart young combat veteran against her (possible).
Her loyalty to Trump matters, but not in an incontrovertible way.
