The next thing you know, the fags will be throwing people in jail who didn’t vote for their fake Mexican, Beto. That’ll be me.
What about that whole separation Church & State thing? That sword cuts both ways.
The state Dictating to the church?
Next:
1) All bankers must give two tens for a five when making change.
2) Everyone must use grape jelly instead of gasoline for fuel.
3) There must be at least one Nazi in each prayer group.
4) Anyone who preaches the Gospel automatically gets fired.
5) Need I go on?
I would be willing to go out on a limb and say that mosques are exempt.
That the Muslims would kill the person who tried is so certain that no one will try.
Would that that sentiment were more widely held.
...and you LOSERS thought that supporting Gay Marriage would FINALLY shut them up and have them leave us alone.
It only EMPOWERED them.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...
Seems pretty clear.
Someone needs to set up a new church, no assets, and break this law getting it into court.
Theyve already encroached on this when liberal judges said that the churches had to pay social security and state taxes on their paid employees because the employees werent considered as part of the religious function but the cost of doing business.
Theyll try to claim that diversity laws apply as well.
Then itll be hate speech enforcement.
Churches are gonna tell Austin up yours and go fly a kite.
Pastors are more than willing to go to jail for their Christian beliefs.
Its a battle the city will lose.
Bkmrk.
The City of Austin is not Congress. Not as clear as you might think.
well of course an ordinance like that is a legal nullity, constitutionally speaking. it means that a few council people thought they would attract some extra support ($$$) .. which means there must be some ‘sexually-activist’ money in the Austin city homosexual ‘community’....
That would be Glenn Beck with his “big tent (gay) party” - the same Glenn Beck who might have voted for Hillary (his own words).
I never said that! :)
If anything its been worse than I predicted.
I wouldnt close.
I would make them send police to try to force the church at gun point to do as they demanded.
I would not accede to the demand either, at gun point or not. Id make them shoot me.
No better time than the present to take a stand on behalf of religious freedom.
The City owes the taxpayers a big apology for the $$$$$ this lawsuit will cost them. Tabor says “Hello Austin!”
Amen. Every night I think we’ve seen the worst of the worst. And then I wake up the next morning & long for yesterday...
MARANATHA!
