Remembering how bad Carter ran the economy into the ground, ... I don’t recall his being so ridiculously delusional as to take any credit for the Reagan boom.
Jimmuh, inept as he was, appears to have been the picture of humility compared to Obama, the consummate narcissist.
That is a really good point. Compared to Obama I suddenly have a LOT of respect for Carter.
All of his recent statements (false) which try to claim credit for policies and results that are diametrically opposite from those in his Administration prove one thing:
The country elected a narcissist who thinks the world revolves around him and who is delusional enough to believe his false rhetoric. He really COULD have destroyed the country like some Nero fiddling while the US burned because of his crazy ideas.
