Silly. Many of these tried and true phrases have a very specific meaning due to animal behavior, such as “get your goat”, “cat got your tongue”, “wag the dog”, “bull in a china shop”, “barrel of monkeys”, “pig in a poke” or “hog heaven”. How impoverished the English language would be if PETA got its way.
