They are called candy canes because they are shaped like CANES.

To say the candies are shaped like “J’s” is the absolute dumbest thing I have heard since last night...

Public school teachers. They work in a world where nothing is real. Everything important in that world is not very important in the real world.

My girlfriend said, “The minute deadlines didn’t count in public school, the entire education system fell apart, and the kids lost all respect for it.”

Amen.

The liberals are always against one thing, when push-comes-to-shove.

Well, and Israel too. Which fits.

I don’t know why she doesn’t look for a job in some deep blue school district, one with lots of “diversity.” No one would care enough in a school like that to complain.

And if the system she was in before didn’t have Christmas, why didn’t she stay? Maybe she thought it was okay to import her ideas elsewhere.

She’s been put on administrative leave.

Good news. This probably isn't the first stupid thing she's done or said or they wouldn't have acted so quickly.

Guessing the Italian flag is also forbidden. No spaghetti on school lunch trays, either.

So, no religious freedom on public land, only on private land?
How about free speech?

Administrative leave? She should be fired, driven from city, and forced to wear a scarlet ‘C’ for “creep.”

I didn’t say I don’t think it’s Constitutional, or that people should be prevented from religious exercise in a government office or organization. I just don’t think government facilities, especially schools, are a particularly appropriate venue for religious observances.

When people invest too much of what should be their private lives into a governmental organization (or a corporation), they run into conflicts, but more importantly, they divert resources from the family, the community, and the religious congregation.

Only someone who lies on her back too much while gazing at Christmas trees would come up with such a notion.

Seeing that the letter “J” is a fairly modern addition to the alphabet and the name Jesus was before that spelled as “Iesus”, maybe we should ban anything in the shape of the letter “I” also.

This won’t stop until Christians decide to unite and end this liberal hypocrisy.

The amount of apathy in our country is stunning.

I found her LinkedIn profile, and it is out of date.

Looks like she started teaching right out of Univ of Nebraska, used the school benefit to get her M.E. from Doane College and was promoted recently.

Just strange out warped many principals’ worldview becomes once they hit Administration. Much more leftists than they were in HS.

Will be on the fast track to Administration where she could really screw up a school system.

“Sinclair is fairly young to be a principal and this indicates quite clearly that she is a product of an education system that has brainwashed her into being a good little statist robot”

Yeppers. One of THE best things Trump could do is abolish the Dept. of Ed. and return it to the states.

Given her “logic” in banning candy canes, shouldn’t she also ban the use of the letters J, C, & G, which might refer to Jesus, Christ, & God. I’d love to hear her explanation as to why these letters should not be banned.

This loon needs to be out of the school & back to the lake. The parents of students need to make this happen.
