Trump is winning. If he continues to win, there well be multiple speakers at his funeral.
He has already done more than many past presidents.
The author has so many false premises in the story as to be pathetic.
I’m sure we could find more than a few among the 63 million of us who voted for Trump and are glad we did who will speak and they won’t be the bootlicking hypocrites I’ve seen that proudly “cross the aisle” in the Republican Party.

Who will speak glowing thinks about Bill Clinton? I guess his brother W could do it. All such hypocrites.
If one of them (or some unbalanced person inspired by their rhetoric) does succeed in killing the President, what would The New York Times' headline be? "Our long national nightmare is over" (quoting Jerry Ford)?
My answer:
OVER 60 Million.

I watched about five hours of the President Bush funeral ceremonies: two churches and one rotunda. Excellent pageantry, clear rituals, genuine prayers to Jesus and wonderful choirs.
The speeches all seemed fake. Sure, senior Bush was a military man and president. But was he the role model of kindness, grace and service? No way. Bush Sr. was a wimpy president who coasted on the greatness of others.
Also, no one mentioned the name of Reagan in five hours. Sad.
Thankfully, America knows how to put on a dignified funeral for a president. All the military were honorable and all the visitors were free to express their faith.
Funny how Episcopalians use Catholic rituals and still reject Catholicism.
Pity the poor security agents who have to watch Clinton and Obama. Dreadful.
Trump’s funeral will be attended by the people who admire him. Millions.
