What’s more interesting about the 2017 White House Holiday Party for the Press is how Trump did not invite April Ryan - supposedly because (in addition to not liking her), she insulted Press Secretary Sarah Sanders about her Holiday Pie (remember #piegate?).
Of course, Ryan is black - which everyone took to be the *real* reason she wasn’t invited. Cuz, y’know, Republicans are racist.
Why was one red cent of taxpayer money EVER spent on a party for them in the first place?
I’m pleased.
The MSM is the last group of people I want to see my money spent on. Have a party for wounded warriors, or gold star families, or ordinary people who have performed herioc deeds? By all means. But for the media? Nope.
For that matter, even if the President and his family didn’t attend, the White House staff would have been forced to deal with that unpleasant crowd of folks. Honestly, can you imagine how a group of MSM people would treat the White House staff, or the White House itself, for that matter?
Don’t give the MSM so much as a box of cheap chocolate-covered cherries, much less the lavish party they believe they deserve. What’s more, I hope their widdle feewings are hurt and they are left to cry into their cocoa.
Has there been a lawsuit filed to reinstate the party? Has a Hawaiian judge weighed in on this?
Don’t we all open up our homes and go through a lot of money and effort to welcome those who are doing everything within their power to damage us, and would actually celebrate if we died? Sure we do!
It would be funny to tell them there would be no booze and it would be a very religious gathering with prayer and testimonies of God’s goodness......nobody would be within 10 miles of it.
