What did we do for the first 150 years of the Republic?
There are multiple Federal LE agencies.
Fire everyone at FBI. ALL of them.
Give any desirable assets to the US Marshall, Treasury etc.
There are also 50 States with considerable state police forces.
Drugs - DEA
Financial - Treasury / Secret Service
Criminal - US Marshals
Counter-terrorism - (there are 17 other intelligence agencies)
Its not that difficult
no glory and unfortunately no prison
takes balls and ethics to speak

I’ve known communists - have you?
Yup. I was curious about communes popping up in the 60's so went and visited one north of LA. As an ignorant kid, I thought what a great idea where everyone works for the overall good.
After one day, I got that naive notion smacked right out of my head as I learned that not all were carrying their own weight by fulfilling the duties assigned to them by the "Council". That's when I learned about inherent human characteristics. That commune disbanded about a month later as I recall. All the others went defunct in a short time later.
As I grew older, I learned about the atrocities committed by the likes of Stalin and Mao. Joined the Navy and was chased around the seas by Soviet subs. So yes, I've met and dealt with communists. Their ideology is a scourge on this Planet. Socialism isn't far behind in its soul killing ideology.
LOL Yep, you ‘get them’...
May I ask what your experience is/was with communists? I’m always looking for real life anecdotes to hammer our home grown communists. I often use the stories of those who lived under Soviet rule in their own countries and despise communism.
I have many stories - but here’s a funny one. A young Russian was at my home for a dinner party many years ago and asked how we figured out prices... I did a double take - like what? Figure out what prices? She said in the USSR they took the American Sears catalog and ‘translated’ dollar prices into rubles... Then she asked again - - how did we came up with our prices... I told her anyone could make up any price they wanted for any item they were selling. That no one assigned prices. Then we just looked at each other for a few seconds like we both knew the other person was nuts... Later I tried to explain capitalism... not too successfully...
