On Planet Ape, the most important question never matters. One has to be at least a half a light year away, for the most important question to matter once again. That is a line I may use in my science fiction novel that will be written someday. Lol.

When you get into something without a well thought out objective and a comprehensive strategy with an end game scenario, then you’re running the risk of a painful, costly and extended stay. And the longer you’re there the more complexities that can arise and the more things that can go wrong thereby sucking you ever deeper into the quicksand of endless conflict.

I think we both would like to see more in the way of decisive strategy and action rather than the open ended messes we seem to get into.

I’m wondering how Erdogan will react, seeing as he started the crap with the Saudi’s about Khashoggi. It will be interesting to see what happens down the road.
Erdogan can’t be happy about it.

Hearing democrats stump for the military defense complex of war merchants merely because it's Trump who is trying to extra care us from foreign entanglements is comical.

Someone on Twitter was mocking the psycho Front Hole Rachel MadCow over her complete backflips from her 2012 position:

Glenn Greenwald, yesterday :

The most bizarre aspect of Rachel @Maddow's deep anger over troop withdrawal from Syria is that she wrote an entire book in 2012 denouncing illegal US Endless War without congressional approval - exactly what Syria is. I interviewed her about it here:

https://www.salon.com/2012/04/04/interview_with_rachel_maddow/

The Lefty mad cows are so far gone in TeeDeeEss that they're having foaming epileptic fits on TeeVee.

How about “because Lockheed, Boeing, and all the other big defense contractors, lobbyists and stock brokers do not want to see their gravy train crash.

the other day Michael Medved was whining about Trump pulling out of Syria. His argument was that “only” a small number of US troops had been killed, so why not stay?

POTUS amazes me. His actions are always multifaceted and he plans ahead.
While the MSM is saying this is precipitous and rash POTUS has to having been working with the Saudi’s for just this contingency.

“We are spending $20 billion a year on Syria and Iraq and $50 billion in Afghanistan. This is about 10% of the Pentagon’s budget. For what? Almost a trillion dollars has been spent in Afghanistan so far.”

And when we close out the above countries the Dems will start harping about how to spend the “Peace Dividend”.

I don’t see Medved getting on a plane and going over there to fight. You should have told him if he is so eager for someone to go over there and fight, go himself.

We shouldn’t be fighting the wars for the Kurds but we can give them weapons and financial support.
