I time travelled there. There was a massive moshpit and Beethoven stage-dived. He invited all the hot chicks in the crowd to go backstage ..

Thanks for posting.

The premiere of Beethoven’s 4th piano concerto (one of my favorite) followed by the premiere of his Symphony #5. Back to back although separated by the intermission.

This was the last time Beethoven played piano for one of his concertos. Beethoven also conducted the concert and made a mistake during a piece and had to stop the orchestra and start again. It was Beethoven’s mistake but the orchestra was not happy. Incredibly historic concert.

What a title. I’ll chime in:

EVERY SINGLE TIME Al Jolson performed a concert, it was “The Greatest Concert of All Time”. *LOL* They didn’t call him “The World’s Greatest Entertainer” for nothing!

What a silly title for an article. I’m sure that for the time it was the place to be. If you fancied classical music.

Possibly the most beautiful movement from any of his symphonies.

"Today is the 210th anniversary of the greatest concert of all time"<

I don't know man. I saw the Eagles at the Ozark Music Festival in '74 and that WAS memorable.

On this date in 1808, Beethoven invented rock and roll.

I didnt see any mention of a laser light show or pyrotechnics.

People used to go to hear a concert; now they go to see one.
