I had another friend a pretty close one too, who had a maybe 1960 Chrysler with a 413 and 3 two barrels. He never drove it fast that I remember.
What are you talking about?
“It’s the last of the V-8’s!”
Had a bud in HS with a 57 Plymouth golden commando.
Don’t remember the cu in but it was very quick.
“you wont be able to buy one: at least, not anytime soon. “
If they could put most of the CVPI in the Marauder, nothing should stop a civilian offer.
Oh, what a day. What a lovely day!
This webpage is not friendly to those of who flock to the pictures first.
I had a Fury, He probably got caught because he ran out of gas. They burn about a 1/4 tank per tire roast. lol
Those PJ wearing white women could be anywhere, just waiting to walk up to a Somolian LEO sitting in his vehicle.
"It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas."
Huh??????
Please write in English so we know what the hell you are talking about........Thanks
From what I understand they had major leaks because that model was “reinforced”. They cinched up the exhaust and all the hydro-lines so they wouldn’t fly off under duress. The end result was that seams would form, break and then pour fluids and exhaust gas everywhere.
“The standard powertrain for the 2020 Interceptor Utility is a 3.3-liter V6 mated to 10-speed automatic transmission. According to Ford, this combination bested the outgoing 3.7-liter powered model to 60 mph by 1.1 seconds and outperformed it to 100 mph by 4.7-seconds. If thats not good enough, you can opt for more power from the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 —”
That ecoboost is nice, but whats with the power options ? It’s like Ford knows they are the only ones in the game now, and they are pulling strings and making buyers say whatever.
The rear protection will protect officers when they get rammed while sitting next the highway. Cops get killed every year by knuckleheads ramming them.
I had a 64 ford with a police inceptor in it, 425 ci monster.
Funny thing is...it was a station wagon and it came that way from the factory. The guys on the line must have had a good laugh sticking that in a station wagon.
I kinda feel sorry for the cop that got a 352 in his.
Hutch had the better car for undercover operations.
The striped tomato stuck out so much but looked cool on TV. Sounds effects and other post production helped.
My son-in-law had a Crown Vic. It was amazing how many people slowed down when we were in the vicinity.
The Fairfax County Police hate them. There is not enough room with all the electronics.
There was a girl in my school, extraordinarily beautiful whose Daddy had a yellow 64 Ford Galaxy, 4dr. hard top. When she drove it I thought it was a beautiful combination. The car was in my opinion one of the best looking cars ever.
Hers had a 352 with a four barrel. Not all that fast but not awful either. If it was a 64, I think yours would have been a 427. I had a 65 Olds Delta 88 with a 425 rocket V-8. A great car.
