It makes sense when you realize that Mitt is a prince of the Deep State and is working undercover as a ‘Republican’ trying to undermine the system, get revenge on Non-Mormons and stealthily empower his true followers. Evil man.
When i read the whole article I came to the conclusion that Dennis Prager is a terrible judge of character - at least initially (liking Romney, disliking Trump). I also listened to Dennis at the beginning of the election cycle last time - initially he was not a fan of Mr. Trump but he came around much faster than any of the others (Levin, Hewitt, Beck, Shapiro, Medved). It tough not to like Dennis he does try to have good manners and treat people with dignity.
“Mitt Romney Fails Again”
It’s what he does.
Prager is about as PRO-TRUMP as anyone on the radio. Right there with Rush and Hantity.
He also brings BRILLIANT POINTS to the table, such as explaining the difference between “personal morality” and “political morality”. So Obama’s ‘personal morality’ was beyond reproach, as far as anyone knows, but his ‘political morality’ SUCKED and was driving this country into the lap of Venezuela. But Trump is exactly OPPOSITE, has a ‘colorful’ past (to say the least), but may just SAVE THE COUNTRY for our kids and grandkids.
So which is better in a leader? You decide. I’m obviously with Trump, as is Prager.
Romney did his job as a UniParty agent. It was not a mistake; it was a mission.
I stopped heeding Hewitt years ago.
I would say Savage is not NeverTrump but AlwaysSavage:
As soon as he perceives he has been slighted in any way, he turns on an erstwhile ally - and then portrays it as himself being independent and no one’s lackey.
His combination of megalomania and immaturity is at times breathtaking.
All of the appendages/parasites (hosts, pundits, et al) that live off DC are, at best, poor judges of character.
I can hardly stand to read the verbose musings of so-called experts like Andrew McCarthy and Victor Hanson, who take months or years to figure out that their exalted associates in The Swamp are indeed as corrupt as we in the hinterland figured out long ago. It is all sophistry with them.
Just yesterday, Sean Hannity eulogized Mitt Romney, saying that he has probably never done anything wrong in his life!
Forget the appalling absurdity of saying that about this treacherous RINO - Hannity claims to be a Christian who believes that all are fallen sinners in need of saving grace!
LOL!
What committee assignments has Romney received?
Try to keep up....Michael Medved is no longer at Salem!
“not big on ideology”
Why not just say they stick their finger in the air to see which direction the political wind is blowing at any given time.
This article is a mea culpa written by Dennis Praeger. He freely admits that he misjudged Trump (as did I) during the early primaries. Praeger never misses an opportunity to say “I was wrong.”
Hewitt & Medved I have not time for — particularly Medved.
“Mitt Romney Fails Again.
Now that this jerk has been elected to the senate, he will quickly prove himself to be the asshole...”
Agree. And it so of fits Romney’s M.O. from Massachusetts days — act like a ‘reasonable Republican’ in a heavidly democratic electorate and spinning that into an election win. Problem with that strategy is that the national media is not like local media. The national Media had no problem painting Romney as a Nazi in 2012. If Mitt thinks he can get by the gatekeepers in the national Media on a 2nd try, he’s a bigger fool than I thought.
That’s ok, I stopped listening to his program years ago. Seemed like he was trying to get into being the next Gene Siskel or Roger Ebert doing movie reviews as a side gig.
"When Donald Trump sought the Republican presidential nomination, I was convinced he had no ideology. And I could not identify any convictions. I therefore opposed his nomination"
Words of a Never Trumper.
" (For the record, I would do so again (voting and campaigning for Romeny), since just about any Republican president will do less damage to the country than any leftist -- and Democratic politicians are now all leftists.)"
He'd vote for Romeny again, so he's still about as GOP-e as you can get.
The only part of Prager’s show was on Friday and it was a lone 1 hour segment called “The Happiness Hour” It was devoid of politics and focused on happiness and perhaps God.
