Gun Control: Any Public Servant that has ever made any deliberate false statements during the course of their professional duties or to the citizenry, Shall be prohibited from possessing or using any firearm or ammunition
I never thought I would ever support gun control yet here I am.

Americans need to make suing the ignorant bastards in the House on The Hill their number one priority. Violating the Bill of Rights can get people killed.

Go ahead and take my guns...but you’ll need a search warrant before you step one inch in my house...or I’ll be able to shoot you...try it liberals

I never thought I would ever support gun control yet here I am. I am in favor of simple, easy to understand gun regulations, like the one already in the Constitution.
If we need more, I suggest a law requiring that any employee of the federal government, or state or local government, or any member of the military located within the United States, have to obey any firearms law or regulation that applies to anyone in the jurisdiction where they are located.
So magazine limits, firearms transfer regulations, etc. would apply to everyone equally. And yes, that would mean our military and law enforcement would be on the side of the rest of the citizens when it came to new firearms regulations.
Of course in some states the military would be unable to do much useful training, but that would make everyone safer in the eyes of the leftist Democrats.

It's weird how the laws of the 116th Congress are Not My Laws.

Or, I sold it to him before the law took affect, here’s a bill of sale.

I would like to see a lawmaker introduce an amendment to their bill that requires that all democrat lawmakers give up their firearms and their security including walls around their houses and locks on their doors.
Hey we are all safe now, ok?

Tyrants always ‘take the guns away’ because a defenseless public cannot then say “NO” to them.
Leftists see a disarmed populace as a necessary step to their ultimate power in the US.

Illusion politics. It will not pass the House, will not be voted on in the Senate and the President would never sign it.
What did Democrats say in the Bush Years? Dead on Arrival.

That’s good, because I ignore stupid laws such as this. Over two centuries of buying/selling firearms in my state, so nobody would have any clue what exchanged hands.

"But legislation to expand background checks for gun sales now has virtually universal backing in the Democratic caucus, even among more moderate members. That shift is a reflection of overwhelming public support for the issue,..."
No. It's because extremely large amounts of money are moving to pass anti-Second-Amendment laws. Most voters by far are against it.

"Democrats: you sold that gun to your friend but didn't do a background check.
Gun owner: no, I didn't sell it, I gave it to him. No check required."
According to another recent article, the bill excludes "reasonable exceptions" for gun transfers among family members. That's how they get such bills passed, by way of misleading journalism (propaganda). The texts of the actual bills are not posted to sites like this one.
