Notice the conflation between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants.
I read one of these "studies". It was designed to deceive, rather than illuminate.
As I recall, the "study" looked at relatively new immigrants compared to other groups in their neighborhoods.
It did *not* compare native populations with illegal alien populations.
An obvious problem is that most immigrants start out poor.
So they live in poor neighborhoods, which likely have a high proportion of black ghettos, and high crime rates. So the "immigrant" crime rates are lower than that of the neighborhoods where they start out.
As I said, intended to deceive.
Mexico, where most illegal aliens come from, has a homicide rate several times higher than the U.S. average rate. But the murder rate in black urban areas is several times higher than the Mexico murder rate!
She uses the generic “immigrants”, whom Trump praised, and left out illegal. The illegal immigrants cannot possibly have a lower crime rate, as they start out with a batting average of 1.000.
Occasional Cortex ought to get her facts straight before she starts making claims about falsehoods.
What is false about the American citizens who were killed by illegal aliens? And others are still being killed by illegal aliens? Pretending that it never happened does not register.

Trump didn’t say anything about immigrants. Any Democrat who says he did is lying. Because they refuse to address the ILLEGAL immigration problem. Which is what Trump talked about.

Looks like this is a clear over-representation unless the illegals are many many more than is presently admitted.
Then later on the paper states:
"Between 2010 and 2014, foreign-born persons were about 13% of the total U.S. population (Figure 1)."
But all foreign born persons are not illegal aliens.
100% of illegal aliens are committing at least one crime. That is why their official identification in federal law is “illegal”.
