I know it has been said before, but it is worth repeating:

If we gave every poor person in the country $1,000,000 within a short period of time they would be back where they started with nothing to show for it, except memories of the time they lived it up.

Wealth Is ‘in the Wrong Hands,’

Mayor Bill de Blasio’s plan for ‘health care for all’ is a grand sum of $166 dollars PER PERSON PER YEAR.

The rest of his plans are equally realistic. The only people foolish enough to buy de Blasio’s crap are New York Times reports who can’d do simple math...

He casts himself as an aspiring Robin Hood — aiming to take from the rich and give to the poor

He needs to look at Robin Hood again. Robin Hood took from the government which had raised taxes to unbelievable heights and gave the money back to those from whom it was confiscated.

The government and establishment was the villain in that story.

Since most fortunes in NY are from nonproductive occupations, this likely won’t be viewed with alarm. See, “Too big to Fail”.

>>>“Brothers and sisters, there’s plenty of money in the world. Plenty of money in this city,” his prepared speech reads. “It’s just in the wrong hands!”<<<

Up next, Bill will represent Bezo’s estranged Wife.

Has he not learned from New Jersey and Maryland what happens when you try to confiscate wealth from the people who have the means and know-how to move it? The wealth goes elsewhere. New York is special, but not that special.

The people who trade on Wall Street can do their trading from anywhere, if they really want to.

Since he’s spreading the wealth, I’ll take some of his.

That’d be the government’s hands. Cut spending.

Wealth is in the hands of those who generate it. It is “ill-gotten gains” in the hands of those who do not earn it, but rather wish to steal it from those who do by governmental redistribution of fiat money.

The only thing missing was the mayor saying,
“Brothers and Sisters, put your hand on the radio
and FEEL the wealth that can be YOURS!”.

Plenty of money ... It’s just in the wrong hands!”

Spoken like any common thief or mugger. That's all deBlasio and his fellow Commies are. In the end they'll shoot you if you don't give it to them.

I wish him all the best in redistributing his subjects wealth.

After all, the NYCers voted for him and elections have consequences.

I get calls from recruiters in my industry looking for people to fill senior management roles in New York City. The last offer I saw was listing a base salary that was 30% higher than I was paid for a HIGHER position a few years ago.

I said: "Hell, no. And tell you client that I wouldn't work in New York City if they paid TWICE what they're listing there."
