I used a Braun until it could no longer hold a charge (this meant that it also didn’t work even when plugged in), then I switched to a safety razor.

I like the Gillette Trac 2. I prefer it to the Mach 3 anyways. Yeah, I see Astra was acquired by Gillette, even though Gillette continues to produce DE blades under its own name as well. You’re right, stick with the Feathers - great Japanese blades. I’ll stick with my German straight edge.
