These products are FAAAAR better than any cartridge system...and DE blades are only 20 cents each and destroys the “modern” cartridge

Pathetic. Well back to finding some cheap razors.
The sad thing for me is that I have tried a dozen different razors and Gillette fusion is hands down the best razor out there. I bought a dozen blades on Sunday. That was before this man-hating ad came out. They’ll probably last me a year. I called the company to express my dismay as I was both a customer and a stockholder.
Unless they repent of their idiocy those are the last Gillette blades I will buy. I’ll probably hold onto the stock because I only own it for the dividends. I don’t generally sell a stock after I buy it. This may affect sales of Gillette but it is a very small part of the P&G empire.
P&G is headquartered in my home town. My dad retired from P&G. Their stock was the basis of his and most of the area’s retirement portfolios. Through thick and thin, P&G has weathered good times and bad. People just don’t give up being clean.
That said, men do grow beards. I have a short one now, and the neckline only shaving it entails will make just one razor last about a year.
At the same time, P&G has too many products for my change in habit to affect them that much. They also have a long track record of divesting themselves of segments that don’t perform well. A lot of beards will make Gilette razor division squirm.
