Trump was at one time castigated in the press for asking someone “What are you?” That is when I knew he was a real New Yorker.
Haven’t heard that term in years. In NYC and boroughs and Southern New England, it was a common question asked since the area was a melange of Italians, Irish, Polish, French, Easter Europeans, Brits, Spanish, Puertro Ricans... during the forties fifties and sixties.
It meant “What’s your heritage?” Gave an idea of how you thought, who you knew, and an ability to find common ground , or step back.
Culturally ignorant mainstream media turned this into a pig’s breakfast and considered it politically incorrect.
It was normative in his time,and in my time there, and I imagine that different groups now there ask the same question. If they can get away with it.

First Popcorn I’ve had in a while. We are having pizza and birthday cake today for grand daughter. The cake is divided into 4 sections-2 Carrot Cake, 1 German Chocolate and 1 double chocolate fudge.

She flew to Witch Mountain to have therapeutic tantrums behind closed doors and to recharge her liberal fascist batteries, coached by Hilolita Clinton no doubt.
Trump can take a punch. Pelosi cannot. She is likely trying to figure a way to attack President Trump anonymously through attacking his family , who unfortunately can be vulnerable.
If that happens, the President will put on his stompin’ boots. So far the President has only been using jabs.
