Hate the U.S. Constitution,
Hate the Bill of Rights,
Hate historical norms of "Right" and "Wrong",
Hate the concept of consequences,
Why? They hold us in the deepest, profoundest contempt.
And why shouldn’t they? The party that tried to break up the entire country to keep their slaves, the party of The Klan, the party that invented Jim Crow laws, the party that enforced segregation, the party that systematically and deliberately insures po’ folk get free abortions, the party that destroyed urban families and single-handedly eliminated male parents from child rearing, the party that kicked the bottom rungs out of the ladder to success has had a total lock on that block of voters they most abused.
Consider this: how soon would a border protection bill be passed if a DNC president was elected in 2020? Probably within a month right? And why not? Securing the border is something they are all on record of supporting.
So, why oppose Trump on this issue and essentially put the entire country at risk? Politics, pure and simple. As far as proglibs are concerned, 2 years of open borders is worth the price to damage Trump's chances of re-election. They figure once they are back in charge, the country could actually return to some kind of normalcy.
Now, flip the analysis around. Just like situations where using radar discloses your own position, the proglibs have essentially "outed" themselves. Their objectives and strategy couldn't be more clear. So, once you know the position to which your enemy is fully committed, it becomes a much easier task to develop counter measures.
It's obvious - at least to me - that this allows Trump to become even more of a border hawk. If the proglibs are not going to negotiate in good faith under any set of conditions, then he longer has to even consider them as a possible alternative. Rather, all the action moves to SCOTUS. Whether Trump is waiting for notorious RBG, or whether his team might have an alternative filing/appeals strategy (perhaps via the 5th district), this is now the theater that he can concentrate his energy.
That means, of course, that his end game is the EO declaration. He pull that off, and he both wins 2020, secures the nation, and possibly sets up the board to re-claim the House. The DNC of course is not stupid, so they've game played this as well. Clearly, they've concluded they concede now, they lose in 2020. So all they have to do is hold firm and make Trump take the chances. If he prevails, it's ok, because they would have lost anyway by providing any concessions.
The problem with The Resistance is they oppose all things Trump even when he helps the country.
In the words of a Chicago Mafia boss: “When something don’t make no sense, a buck is involved.” Truer words were never spoken. There is money, a lot of money involved here.
Depending on the source, something like $70 - $150 billion/year of govt. support (our tax dollars) goes into the pot for illegal aliens for food/housing/medical/etc. vs a measly $6 billion one time payment to stop us tax payers from getting bilked out of $70-$150 billion every year, - if you were a crook who dipped into the illegal alien pot at will, which option would you fight againt?
And there’s your answer as to why the dems oppose everything American.
Why? So Trump doesn’t put another notch in his belt for accomplishing a campaign promise. And...they want to build their base with Hispanic immigrants.
It’s into a backfire on them from the Hispanic voters who seem to be turning more to favor Trump, so there’s a chance the left will capitulate as they see less opportunity to build their base out of Hispanic immigrants.

And yet some people on here are praying for their good health, longevity, happiness in retirement in the bosom of their family, etc. Go figure.
Is it possible that Mr. Soros has been willing to invest some of his money to sway certain politicians to act in ways that hasten the destruction of America?
The DIMs despise anyone who isn’t them and/or who isn’t their serf. The He** with them. They are incorrigible anti-Free-America and anti-Free Citizen. This a war...they must be crushed to dust.

If we cannot accurately identify what the Hostile force is that seeks to undermine the Western World, then we will be powerless to overcome it. If we keep using terms like Democrat or Progressive we are only making matters worse. The so-called Democrats that have seats of authority have been bought and sold by their misplaced allegiance to Communism. I might add that there are also those who called themselves Republicans that have fallen for the same lie...They are communists not socialists. Communists steal kill and destroy like their father. Remember socialism is communism without a gun to your head.
