GOP never wanted a wall and Trump doesnt have the power to get them to change.
And POTUS can’t tell us the ugly truth because it would crush GOP base voter morale and elect even more Democrats.

Why dont they just make it official and switch parties?Do you realize that this would put around 20 (R) senators in office. All the others are sellouts.

Alinsky Anomaly in Alabama Weakened the weak R candidate & divided R Party. Jones wont be re-elected. A $^!+ Storm, having nothing to do with the entrenchment of Merkowski, In now blue Alaska.

If they can get 60 votes in the Senate, it won’t matter.

True, and no one should be contributing financially to the Republican Party because its members are engaged in activities that are contrary to the public interest.

Six Republican Senators voted for the Democrat plan to reopen the government - Collins, Cory Gardner, Isakson, Murkowski, Romney, and Lamar Alexander.

If he were going to do it he would have already done it and moved on, sideline the Dems and get the job done which would have been more effective and boosted his approval ratings...Jawboning it and threatening it make him look weak..

Sickening fact of the matter, but true.”
I continue to believe and will do so until proven otherwise, that the population of the Congress is at best 75/25 Maoists/patriots. Which makes a certain sense given that the population at large is about 75/25 net dependent/net productive.

It takes 67 votes to overide a veto. It’s not gonna happen.
