"I have no idea why this is a front page story! But I love Corsi and only wish him the best. Glad he refused to roll over for Mueller."

YES!!

Another example of the ComPost leading with innuendo and their own conspiracy theories without any facts to support their story. If Corsi was employed as an independent contractor by a media outlet, that is not proof of anything.

Being employed by the Washington ComPost is prima facie evidence you are probably a liar!!

can’t recall seeing either of these pieces on FR today:

24 Jan: The Hill: John Solomon: FBI lawyer’s unusual interventions in Trump probe raise questions
By John Solomon
Ex-FBI General Counsel James Baker was both a conduit of Hillary Clinton-tied evidence in the Russia case and a reviewer of the controversial Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant that targeted a Trump campaign adviser days before the 2016 election.
And, by his own admission, both roles Baker played in the case were aberrations.

But Baker acknowledged that sometime in September 2016 — a month before the FISA warrant — he took Trump- and Russia-related cyber evidence from Michael Sussmann, a lawyer for the Democratic Party and the Clinton campaign, and routed it to the Russia counterintelligence team.
Then, after the FISA warrant was issued, Baker trafficked a second piece of evidence to the investigators, this time a new version of Christopher Steele’s now-infamous dossier that he obtained in November from liberal reporter David Corn, an avowed Trump critic...ETC

Solomon told Hannity today that FBI sources who read the above joked there must have been another FBI, full of liars, leakers and lawlessness (going from memory).

VIDEO: 24 Jan: Fox News: Catherine Herridge: Investigators had ‘50/50’ chance of securing FISA warrant for Trump aide without dossier: testimony
The chances of securing a 2016 surveillance warrant for a Trump campaign aide were “50/50” without the controversial anti-Trump “dossier,” according to testimony in newly confirmed congressional transcripts.

The October testimony from senior FBI lawyer Sally Moyer to House investigators appers to underscore how critical the dossier — funded by the Democratic Party and Clinton campaign — was in obtaining the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant, and appears to conflict with Democratic assertions that the dossier played a limited role in the process.
Asked whether the FBI would have been able to establish probable cause if the application “did not have the Christopher Steele information in it,” Moyer responded: “So I think it’s a close call, like 50/50, 51/49. I really think it’s a close call.”...ETC

Corsi “received payments from” a website.

“If true”, “some say” that someone working for money “could be” illegal and traced to Trump, which means Pelosi becomes president, then Unicorns and all renewable energy, etc. /s

I think the mule team will take advantage of anyone who doesn’t have the guts to go up against them. Once someone does lawyer up and fights back unless he’s a Manafort quality witness, someone who has a load of baggage like Paul, the mule team usually backs off.I think that’s what is happening with Corsi he fought back.

Solomon/The Hill article appears under different headline/title ...

FBI lawyer's dual hats raise questions in Russia probe (Ties to Hillary)

I believe you are correct that there is no FR thread dedicated to Herridge 24 January video on Sally Moyer's testimony.

Corsi did freelance work for InfoWars and was compensated for his efforts.
So what?

For leftists, work is a crime.

>>Corsi has taken advantage of his dealings with the Mueller team by writing articles and a book about it.

So someone is paying him now, but that’s not influence?

Viacom bought $8,000,000 of influence of Sen. Hillary Clinton.

But “Democrat” so no influence or collusion I guess

There's nothing wrong with getting paid to write about your dealings with a prosecutor.

There's nothing wrong even if you lie in your writings about everything that went on in your dealings, either!

Trump should pardon Corsi and Stone and advise them publicly to disclose anything that is true to Mueller....and that he will pardon them again after the testimony if need be,

That is total immunity, and removes any reason for them to lie so all will know the truth has been told.

The media would scream....let ‘em

What a witch hunt

Don’t forget, perhaps Corsi’s biggest crime was that he and the Swift Boat vets took down John Kerry... reason enough to destroy him.

It all sounds to me like Mr Mueller thinks that just because he is a “special prosecutor” that is really a Grand Inquisitor and subject to no authority higher than himself, and that even to privately investigate him and what he is doing MUST be “criminal” and also subject to his “investigation” (persecution).

Ping to Roger Stone getting arrested this AM, but NOT Corsi (yet?):

“The 24-page indictment alleges that Stone worked to obstruct the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election by making false statements to the committee, denying he had records sought by the committee and persuading a witness to provide false testimony.

“The indictment does not charge Stone with conspiring with WikiLeaks, the anti-secrecy website that published the emails, or with the Russian officers Mueller says hacked them. Instead, it accuses him of witness tampering, obstruction and false statements about his interactions related to WikiLeaks’ release.”

The indictment says Stone spoke to Trump campaign officials during the summer of 2016 about WikiLeaks and information the organization had that might be damaging to the Clinton campaign. It also says Stone was contacted by “senior Trump campaign officials” to inquire about future WikiLeaks releases of hacked Democratic emails.
