She didn’t switch parties. She just made it official. She has a lot more class than McCain, Snow, and others.

I realize this is at the state level, but still.

New Jersey is lost. Hopelessly reprobate. I left in 1988, never to return.

The voters of the 8th District should have a long talk with her and convince her of the errors of her ways by recalling her, at minimis.

Yawn. RepublicRats have been doing this for years. They just don’t blatantly switch parties. They stay on the right as saboteurs.

This is the strategy of libtards now.

Pretend to be a republican, and if you win, switch parties.

So basically lie and misrepresent yourself to steal the opposition party’s candidate spot, then either way, a socialist democrat grts elected.

end justifies the means.

We did just have a pro-life, anti-tax Republican governor for two terms; he was “trumped” by the media for all of the second term (24/7/365 attacks on the airwaves), and was “term-limited” out. The problem is too many Americans and their private-sector employers have left the state, so there is little hope.

The Democrats (especially in NJ) are the political arm of the teachers’ unions, and they more than anyone else have made the state ridiculously expensive. Now it is a haven for the permanent welfare class, trafficked illegal aliens to replace the fleeing Americans, and a well-paid upper middle class of the government worker caste. NJ offers nothing to future residents or businesses.

They elected MEEEEEEEEEE!

Thanks to their votes, I can now tell them what they think.

She never was a Republican. Many RATs register and run as Rs in conservative districts. It is part of the plot.

Sweeney, after doing nothing about the coming union pension collapse in NJ, has finally realized that the disaster is less than 5 years away and wants to do something about restructuring the pension system, which will enrage the unions.

Murphy, completely beholden to the unions greatly prefers to ignore the situation, while "raising taxes on the rich" to address the shortage. The problem is "the rich" seems to mean everybody with an on-the-books job, and "the rich" don't have that much money anyway, especially now that the actual rich have all moved away to lower tax climes.

I also don't think Sweeney appreciates Murphy's stupid illegal amnesty plans and he also doesn't think Murphy kisses Boss Sweeney's ring like he should.

So there are clashes, but they are both horrible leftists. They patched things up just this week, long enough to hold a press conference in a diner to discuss raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Unfortunately for them, the diner owner then stood next to them and said the minimum wage raise threatens to shutter his diner!

and she keeps on talking about National/Federal issues and she is a NJ STATE senator. I bet she has other reasons for switching.

that’s classic, I’m glad he said that. I hope it was on a tv news show and not just in print.

She was a Democrat to begin with.

Most Northeast Republicans are really Democrats in most other states.
