Not sure what value the health insurance companies are providing. Seems like they have just screwed up the free market to the point you have to have insurance as a middle man.

It would (copying the idiotic British NHS plan) require the “crime” of a practitioner providing care to a patient for cash— and for squealers to turn the practitioners in to the healthcare police (who also control their license to practice).
