“Anchor Babies” outnumber “Tourist Babies” about 10 to 1 over the last 10 years.
The average is roughly 300,000 to 30,000 each year.
More often than not, the parents of a “Tourist Baby” are wealthy, or close to it.

As harsh as some countries can be; at least they don’t play when other countries or people are taking advantage of them. Heck; I remember reading China would not allow bald men to become Chinese citizens and stay because they didn’t want to see more baldness in their country. I’m sure they had already taken steps to reduce what they did have.
China, as we well know, doesn’t think short term like America does. They think 50, 100, even 200 years ahead.

Agreed. Both are bad news just like the anchor baby loophole in the first place.

It is dead wrong. Yes, we should make our laws clearer to only give citizenship to those born to citizens or legal permanent residents only.

How do they get here? Most airlines don’t permit late-term pregnancies onboard.

Yes, especially since some people think the children of foreign nationals are natural born citizens eligible to be President.

The way to stop all of this is to pass a law which gives American citizenship at birth to only the children of American parents,,,at least one or both of the parents must have been born in the US or be a must have been born in the US to parents here legally or be a naturalized citizen at the time of the childs birth... Time to stop this insanity... past time.
