In any event, except for England, most European countries don't have a lot of foreign students, because speaking French, German, etc., has much less potential value than English.

Since its been abused and has stagnated wages for going on 30 years. There is no need for any immigration for at least 30 - 40 years. WE NEED TO TRY TO ASSIMILATE THE ONES WE HAVE NOW. I think Trump is trying to triangulate and not seem racist to squishy moderates. Illegal immigration by far exceeds legal. It’s no contest. So let’s try to be productive instead of stomping our feet.

No, there isn’t anything racist about wanting legal immigration particularly in the face of out of control illegal immigration. But you have to overcome the objections of the Left and it’s hammerlock on public opinion. Appearance are everything and that’s a lesson the Left knows all too well.
