“Smart” has several different meanings. For one, it could be a very stylish dresser, up on the latest fashion and being something of a trailblazers that other happily follow. Or, it be the sharp pain from a stroke of a whip or a stinging slap. Or, it just be a mouthy little brat that wisecracks at every opportunity, sometimes with sharp invective as part of the repertoire. One meaning that does NOT fit AO-C is in the intelligence quotient score.
