Hi, Kathy! ((((hugs))))

Hope you have a blessed Sunday, too! It was pretty cold today and will be a bit warmer tomorrow, but high still “just” in the 50s. The kitties are ready for warmth! LOL! Stay warm at your place. Of course, it’s supposed to be cold there! :)

Howdy, LUV.

How are things down your way? Has it warmed up at all?
It warmed up a little here but we’re waiting for Monday with a high around 60.
Of course, we get wet with the warm. *sigh*

Good evening, radu, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.

Are you finally drying out? We’ve been just below freezing today...but beautiful sunshine most of the day.

We dried out a little but have another drenching on the way for the next three days. We’ll need to take a brush to our hides to scrape off the mold and algae before much longer. LOL

A day of sunshine is great for lifting the spirit, isn’t it? Even if it is pretty nippy outside.

I did!! And got my oil changed at the same time. I’m good to go for a while. I was in and out in about an hour, and got gas on the way home. I’m in for the rest of the weekend.

How is “the house” cleaning coming along? More progress?

Hiya Kathy!

Blizzard conditions here. Blowing, horizontal snow all day long with lots of accumulation. Thankfully we haven't lost our power yet.

Just stayed inside and relaxed.

Hey, there, radu! No, it’s still pretty cold here, but gradually warming. It’s 37 right now. I’m definitely wearing cords and a heavy sweater to church in the morning!

Hope you get to enjoy some warmer DRYER weather soon. Just as I hope we get some rain. There is nothing in the next 2 weeks’ forcasts, though. *sigh*

YAY! And you got it all done fairly quickly. Bet you’re glad to have that behind you now.
I hope your “in for the rest of the weekend” includes a lot of R&R. You had a rough week and could use some kick-back-and-relax time.

I’m giving my back a break from the house cleaning tonight. Hauled too many large bags of fabric from this house to the other one last night to add to what was over there already. Then helped load it all into the gal’s truck who came to get it this afternoon. The ol’ back is not too happy at the moment but a nice dent was made in getting stuff outta here.
I did get a little more boxed up last night after hauling the fabric over there so progress is still being made.

BRRR! You’re colder than we are. It’s 45 here at the moment which isn’t but a couple of degrees cooler than our high today.
Dryer weather isn’t in our forecast for a few days. Rain’s moving in now and will move out Wed. morning. But I have no idea what to expect. Just watched weather forecasts on two Nashville stations and they are so different from each other, it’s ridiculous. Just have to see what DOES happen.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Did you and Gizmo have a good time at the lake yesterday? Was it a nice enough day to draw a crowd of other folks or did y’all have it pretty much to yourselves?

UPDATE VIA LUV W and Jul, The Mayor's wife.

SATURDAY UPDATE ON THE MAYOR'S PROGRESS FROM MRS MAYOR:

Rus is still having some confusion and occasionally tries to get out of bed. Today he seems particularly inaudible though I did catch him talking about doing 8 shows a night! It could be his days as Rus Seger at Bowinkles and Liam’s Irish Tavern in Framingham.. but it might have more to do with the solid gold oldies playing on his TV. Lol He did say I’ve been telling him to hang in there, and you because I’ve been reading him all your notes, so he agreed to. 😷☺️

Monday is his birthday, he’ll be 63.
Hopefully he’ll have a little more clarity so he can have visitors.

KEEP PRAYING FOLKS. THERE IS A WAYS TO GO BEFORE HE IS 100%, BUT HE'S TAKING BABY STEPS TOWARD RECOVERY AND GOD IS LISTENING TO OUR PRAYERS!

Fight on, Rus!!

It did warm up some. Still nobody out there though. Gizmo did some running on the golf course chasing a bird but not all the way through the course. He ran all the way around the parking lot and I thought he was going to run up to the bait house for a moment there.

We had a great time though. Supposed to reach 46 for a high today.

It sounds like Gizmo had a grand time running all over the place. Bet he took a long nap when you got home. :-)

They said our high would be about the same as yours but since we’re already there, I don’t know what to expect - - other than rain. It’s almost here now.

Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love;
The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test,
That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price,
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.

And there's another country, I've heard of long ago,
Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know;
We may not count her armies, we may not see her King;
Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering;
And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase,
And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace."
