All sorts of languages. But there were more Spanish speakers than anything else.

My friend is having a bit of a problem in that regard. He entered the profession rather late (he was 50 at the time). School districts are reluctant to hire older teachers who were previously let go for incompetence. That wasn’t his fault, as I noted earlier.
So now my friend is doing private tutoring. Less money, but way less stress.
Very fitting.

Sorry to hear that. It’s one thing to get older in your own land. It’s just strange to get older in a foreign land, that used to be your own land.
We need a good 40 year freeze on immigration, but even then the damage is done I’m afraid.

People voted for Trump because he was going to slow migration, both illegal and legal.
Illegal immigration is only part of the problem. Legal immigration is just as bad. When Legal immigrants from the third world become citizens, they vote for democrats. When their US born citizen kids are old enough, they vote for democrats.
The political deaths of California, NM, NV and CO were largely committed through Legal immigration. Mainly chain-migration family-based visas.
Trump is on track to admit as many or more migrants per year than Obama. (way more if DACA amnesty or increased worker visas happen)

exactly what I’ve been saying too. teachers would be less stressedwithout having to deal with so many language differences and understanding differences. I almost think any legal new students should have to take english speaking and comprehension classes and tests for a few months before being put in class so as not to detract from time for other students learning, Teahcer can teach whole group not havet to keep taking time separate for non english speakers.
Also would cut the swamped hospitals etc to not have so many illegals too.
but yes a few jobs m ay be not needed but I would think those people could pick up other jobs rather quickly.

If the nation wasn't flooded with immigrants real estate prices would return to sane levels and those houses would be filled with American families instead of packed with 3rd worlders.
That’s what comes from being a believe-in-nothing country.
Maybe it’s a wash — America has immigrated a count of souls equal to what it aborted.
The nation might be filled with American families, but NJ and NY wouldn’t be; our financial burdens are more due to massive government workforces from the municipal up to the state level. That is causing American taxpayers to flee, and bringing in masses of immigrants (on federal wealth re-distributions like SNAP and Section 8) is the only thing that prevents these states from emptying out completely.
What’s happening here and abroad is certainly shaping up for that...and we’re seeing the ‘war’ opposing it. Unfortunately we’re also seeing how easily people are deceived today and therefore when the time comes it’ll go pretty fast.
Peace deal with Israel hasn’t happened yet...and other things need to happen first before that man will assume his power. So we’re not there yet for some time... but the ball is certainly rolling.
I agree with you that this is happening everywhere, even rural areas are dealing with it. ...as I learned when visiting my own hometown. Where the push for ‘diversity’ is trending with the population and leaders without any grit just go along..... just as the libs want it to.
You’re also right they don’t congregate in their own areas rather expect you to adapt to them being in your neighborhood...along with their cultural to change your community to what it’s not.
I will never be for diversity or multiculturalism.....it’s not how God intended and Im sure am not going to support any of it.
Schools have become babysitting services for parents so they can go do other things.
