Glad you and Gizmo were able to spend a little time at the lake yesterday.

We’re wet, wet, wet here but it looks like the rain is almost out of our area at last. The wind picked up as the front went through a couple of hours ago.

At least it isn’t kicking up any dust like it is in TX. Ugh!

Thank goodness, no, we didn’t lose power here. But it must have brought out all the bad drivers. Sirens were going off all day from the fire station near us. It’s supposed to be windy again tomorrow.

I just wish we’d get some rain. We’ve had less that 2/10ths of an inch in 2 1/2 months. Dry as a bone so the wind stirs up the dirt. Blech!

Glad it wasn’t windy enough to cause power problem and I hope that’s the case tomorrow as well.
Dang, I didn’t realize how little rain you’ve had. I knew it was bad but not that it was THAT bad.

It’s been worse, but not for about 7 years. That was the year that we had ZERO...really.....rain for 12 months. It was a nightmare that I never want repeated!

Well, at yesterday's luncheon I took her to the side and said to her, "Little did you know that YOU would be the woman who would steal me from ( Mrs. spel! ) I am going to divorce her and marry YOU! Her reply, "You do not know what you are getting yourself into, young man!" I ROFL laughing! ;-)
