Minnesota, Wisconsin and New Jersey already have some of the highest individual tax rates in the nation so raising those might be a bit unpopular:

They will try to sell it to the populace as a user tax or energy/ecologically "friendly" tax but it will ultimately be born disproportionately by working class families who have to travel to work.

The notion of actually cutting spending and entitlements would get the folks in Little Mogadishu up in arms. Can't have that.

I’m Minnesota born, still family there. Every time I go back and visit and just look at them like WTF. It’s not normal Minnesotan’s, it’s Somaliapolis. Just like the rest of the Demorat party, the “normal” democrats, which most of Minnesotan’s are, members of the old, Democrat Farm Labor party, still believe that the “New” Democrat party represents them. It does not.

Evers was the state superintendent of schools, a position in which he was a total failure, he has now been promoted one grade above his competency level (which was not very high to begin with). He presided over some of the worst schools in the county.

He was elected by the college student vote in two counties (Dane an Madison) when they put a MJ advisory referendum on the ballot. The stupid student\s thought that meant MJ would be legalized.

Absent those two counties and Evers would have lost.

There were some 34,000 “found” ballots in Dane and 72,000 ballots of people who where dead, moved, or non-existent in Milwaukee county.

No one has come up with how all this happened and likely will continue to happen until Wisconsin is once more broke, bankrupt, and near collapse with record unemployment.

Where is all these taxes going. I want an audit and breakdown of all federal state and local taxes. I am paying 50%+ now. Probably more. I’m not rich even if the average democrats think I am. Over half my labor goes to my lords in Washington and Montgomery. More than 50% is slavery.

All the more reason to have electoral college-style systems for all statewide offices, except for U.S. Senators. The counties in Wisconsin, et al. could be weighted in a manner similar to the states in the U.S. electoral college — i.e., each county gets an equal number of EVs to being with (1 or 2) and then 1 or more in each county according to population.

#27 My sister has new neighbors that moved in last year. First it was 2 then after they moved in it was 12 people she saw coming and going. She thinks they are somali. She says they go thru her yard and the neighbors and steal anything.
