This xxxxxxx had an obligation to try to push good policy, not simply tell us what his vote was afterwards.

We can all look up how he voted.

A good solid Conservative would have come out with his decision weeks before this vote, and worked to change others opinion so we wouldn’t wind up with a 59/41 vote.

Ted is too often confused and not taking proper stand before elections, or even on election day at times.

So yes, he still warrants criticism.

This is not how you display having Trump’s back.

“NeverCruzers...Ya’ll never stop.”

Let’s see. I voted for Cruz in 2012 over the ‘establishment’ candidate, David Dewhurst in the Primary. I then voted for Cruz the general election (I know, no brainer). I then supported Cruz over EVERY OTHER REPUBILCAN prior to Trump arriving in 2015 (my posts from that time will prove it). Then I voted for Trump in the Primary and in the General Election. Last November, I again voted for Cruz, despite his antics n 2016, for re-election (an election where he needed EVERY conservative vote).

If that makes me a Never-Cruzer, then so be it.

Martha “McLame” McSally voted for the resolution. She needs to be out-primaried by Kelly Ward in 2020. I’m sick of Martha already.

The question is; are there enough Vishy Republicans to over-ride the veto?

Not really. Cruz hid under his desk until the vote was taken (refused to take a position and support POTUS), voted the correct way and then stood tall virtue signalling like a typical tip toe through the tulips career politician. That is not leadership and that is why he will never be POTUS.

So, now both stolen houses are voting against Trump’s feeble show of protecting America’s southern border from the “caravans” of baby rapists, drug cartels, terrorists and job stealers ...Trump said he would keep the federal govt. shut down “as long as it took”, and that he would never sign Congress’s evil un-constitutinal immigration bill, then he blatantly caved, reopened the federal govt. and meekly signed their evil immigration bill .Remember Bush 1 saying : “Read my lips: NO NEW TAXES!” ? Trump’s caving on that immigration and shut down and supporting red flag laws by telling Diane Frankenstein et al that he “liked to take away the guns BEFORE giving due process” ... that was Trump’s own Bush league “Read my lips ...” moment. I don’t trust him anymore!
