No, he wasn’t confronted by anyone with a gun. I do have the video and I’ve seen it several tines.
There was one guy who rushed the shooter, and almost grabbed his gun, but the shooter managed to kill him. It was really close and that guy might have done it, if he had been maybe a half-second faster ... it was that close. I do believe he had his hand on the gun.
That’s the only confronting there was.
The second mosque did not have any video available, so we can’t view anything. We do have some testimony, though, and there was no one with a gun there, either. The shooter discarded his weapon (he had several) and another guy at the mosque picked it up and threw it through the car window when the shooter was leaving. That came from the guy who said he did it. Like I said, no video at the second mosque.
But, yes ... in any situation like that ... if other people in a location where a shooting is happening - have a weapon - then they could shoot back and either kill the shooter or drive him off. That kind of goes without saying and there’s no need of a video to know that.
No one can “muck up the works” as good and as well as the EU.
Not to worry. the massacre of hundreds of Christians is also blocked - by media non-coverage.
Dead Christians=indifferent
Christians=radicals
Dead muslims=bad
Muslims=victims
I don’t see why one couldn’t dial into a BBS server number with a cell phone?
I remember uploading stuff and getting software bits from Channel One wayyyyyyyy back.
Yeah, no such thing as ‘common talk’, talking across the backyard fence, talking around the water cooler, talking over food at a restaurant.
You would have to research every statement you made, carry a pocket-load of ‘references’ for quotes, work on a ‘research paper’ before going to the backyard fence and talking to your neighbor ... LOL ...
And where do you plug in that modem to your cel phone? ... LOL ...
I think everything will work fine through the first half of the Tribulation. Things will be great. It’s the second half that everything falls apart and the world collapses. That’s only 3-1/2 years though. Of course, I don’t count on being here.
I dont see why one couldnt dial into a BBS server number with a cell phone?
You MIGHT be able to pull that off at very low baud (300), 30 characters per second, but the higher speed modem protocols would probably be rendered unusable by the variable delays, compression, analog/digital conversions, and CDMA /TDMA going on with mobile phone technology.
Agree.
Yes, the first 1/2 of the Tribulation will seem like the “peace and security” thing is working, on some sorts.
I believe the Two Witnesses will walk the Earth during the first 1/2. That way the Beast can kill them and their bodies lie in the streets of Jerusalem for three and a half days. The Beast will pronounce his conquering of these two prophets of God. Then they stand on their feet and ascend into Heaven right on CNN.
Don Lemon will say it’s not happening. Anderson Cooper at MSNBC will agree.
My phone is modem tethered to my laptop as we speak. I can dial out to friends and family and talk to them on my laptop directly without connecting to an ISP internet portal. I don’t see why I can’t use the same set up as a dial in sound packet modem to a server with a proper software client. Telnet through wireless. The receiving BBS server and number would probably need to be hardwired to handle the multiple incoming traffic though.
The truth." Dumbledore sighed. "It is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution.
Scratch a politician, find a fascist. *sigh*
I agree, it would still be old school speed. But an old school text server wouldn’t require much speed. Graphics and file sharing is pretty much out.. lol
And then ... Skynet takes over ... LOL
That’s why they created the catch all phrase “alt right”.
Any thing they don’t like will be tagged with that phrase and banned.
Changing history as it happens. Libs can’t even wait for events to be over now.
I agree, protect people from what? The truth?
A scene with Jack Nicholson comes to mind now...
I just don’t think we’ll be going back to that system. Things move forward. I used to be on different BBSs, in the day. There was an infrastructure there and it was building and growing (it was a quite interesting) ... but then it all came apart and fell to the wayside with the Internet. I don’t think we’ll get that infrastructure back again.
“I have seen comments that after seeing the video, it is obvious that someone with a gun could have stopped the shooter early on. That is what they are trying to suppress.”
I just had a conversation with an Aussie liberal about how proud she was about their gun control laws. Even after this, she will still be clueless. She loves their socialized medicine even though she has to wait 2-3 years for back surgery and she can hardly function now.
How DO they brainwash these people?
The advantages would be a bulletin board with no need for a connection to the internet, and now we don’t have to pay per the minute for long distance calls.
