Hey, there! Thought I’d pop in before heading off to bed and just see how your day went. Hope the weather was nice. I heard there was some nasty stuff coming that way and I hope it misses y’all.

Have a good Sunday. Talk to you tomorrow!

We need a nice heavy rain to damp down the citywide dust and dirt from winter, graveled streets, etc.

Howdy, LUV.

It turned out to be a decent day. A bit cloudy but we didn’t have any rain showers. Nice and warm too.

The first round of bad weather passed just below us. I saw I was hitting Rome, GA earlier so pulled up the Berry cam to watch the “light show”. LOL
Round Two is heading towards us but doesn’t look bad as far as storms go. Just gonna wet us down pretty good.
Round Three will hit later in the day and we’ll just have to see what that one brings.

It was a nice night so Hubby moved the pile of junk that I’d left on the carport to the burn spot and we had a nice big fire. His cousin saw it and came over and we all had a nice long visit. Firebugs all. :-)

I’m glad the nasty weather in TX missed you but do wish you could have gotten some rain out of the deal.

I hope you don’t have Peaches for company tonight so you can get a good night’s sleep.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

How did you fare yesterday? Did the foul weather miss you or were you hammered?

We had a brief shower with some thunder and lightning but that was about it. Went back to Gizmo’s favorite hangout, the tree stump. Quite a few people out there yesterday. We’ll see how today goes.

Very good! It looked like you might get hit harder than that the last time I checked the radar before going to bed.

We’ve been lucky so far. The first round went just south of us and the second round is just giving us a little rain right now. They say we could have severe storms later today but we’ll see how it goes.

"I VOW TO THEE, my country, all earthly things above,
Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love;
The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test,
That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price,
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.

And there's another country, I've heard of long ago,
Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know;
We may not count her armies, we may not see her King;
Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering;
And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase,
And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace."

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS AND OUR BELOVED NATION!

Amazing Grace
(Click)

By John Newton

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, Who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.
