I bought the Civilization book that went with it. It’s not a subject I know much about so part of the fun is looking up all that material of which I am totally ignorant. It’s like your own personal college course without the PC.

Western Civilization used to be a required course for liberal arts undergraduate students at most colleges. Today not only is it missing from the curriculum, it is despised on most campuses.

You can’t just view it once.It’s got more stuff stuffed in it than a college course. Buy the book, look up those things Clark references that you don’t know, then watch it again!
I personally think this is because we have handed over education for the Government to handle. Why should anybody be surprised it continues to drift to Soviet style education?
