Then they only wanted to ban “Saturday night specials”.
Then they only wanted to ban ALL handguns.
Then they wanted to ban high-capacity handguns.
Revolvers suddenly weren’t so bad anymore.
Then they wanted to ban rifles that look like military rifles.
Then they wanted to ban .50 cal rifles.
And I haven’t even touched the small demands such as the ones to ban scopes on hunting rifles, or 5-shot bolt action army surplus rifles, or bans on bayonets. When, since 1900, was the last time someone was murdered with a fixed bayonet?
They just want to ban something then work on that to ban all firearms which has always been their goal.
Worst case - look at what Trump is doing to reshape the federal judiciary. Block EO by injunction ( we know how that game is played), then Scotia will declare it unconstitutional.
