He sent His Word and healed American Victory..Psalm 107:20
Be healed and made whole, American Victory, in the Lovely Name of Jesus...Amen
April 29, 2019 we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. In the following prayer I offer my respectful intentions.
Lord, I offer You my last hour in this life and pray for all those who will face this moment today. May it be a sweet hour in which we are surrounded by Your angels and saints. May we especially receive the consolation of knowing the prayers of Your dear Mother at this moment. Mother Mary, pray for us, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Jesus, I trust in You.
Albion, Please post this as an update, thanks! And thanks for posting, it is so much appreciated.
Surrounded by family, American Victory passed very peacefully from this life at 3:25 this afternoon (Aprll 26, 2019). His ‘kids,’ i.e., adult children, told dad stories, played his favorite music, read poetry including a Robert Frost poem that had been read at our and our daughter’s wedding. Also he was watching President Trump address the NRA as his final TV viewing... totally appropriate.
Our 9 month old granddaughter was there and brought him incredible joy and brought out his hugest smiles. Our pastor, Msgr Pope, gave him the Last Rites of the Catholic Church that he joined a year ago. In all, it was as lovely and loving a farewell as possible.
I told him of the FR thread and, tho unable to speak at the time, he was grateful for all the thoughts and prayers, and for having FR in his life over the years. I believe he actually attended one of the first FReeps at the Capitol on Halloween Day c. 1999. Thank you one and all.
RIP brother. You’re family will join you in good time.
Thanks for the pings. Condolences to EDINVA, remaining family and friends of AmericanVictory. R.I.P., sir.

Honestly, I am overwhelmed and so grateful for all the positive thoughts and prayers offered here for American Victory, for me and our family. It has been a profoundly sad experience losing the love of my life, but also a time to accept God’s plan for AV’s life and mine in gratitude for the 38 years we had together and the family we were blessed to raise.
There will be more tears, and more laughter, as our family moves forward with plans for AV’s final arrangements. I will carry thanks in my heart for all your prayers. Thank you.
